In this video I'll show you my technique for ventilating human hair. when you fold the hair to form the loop so you can ventilate the hair into a knot on the lace you must be aware of how you do it so you won't waste time and hair.

You need to fold it low enough for the return roots to be able to fall flat on the head, so in this case you don't want them to be too short

On the other hand if you make the return roots long enough, (in our video a10 centimeters which is about 4 inches) you still have to deal with a problem that will occur, the returns will end in the same spot so at that spot you will have a blunt cut of hair and then the rest of the hair is going to fall much thinner. So we don't want to have a single point where all the returns end.

So the last thing you want to remember is that you need to layer the roots before you ventilate them, by puling them slightly and make them be different in length than the other returns so the return roots will gradually start to finish and until the last returns finish you will have a more seamless return cut.
