This is a time lapse recording of my painting of a white labrador retriever named Allie. It was a commission done from photo references, though I veered from the references to improve the pose, background, and shapes of the ear. (Dog ears are my favorite thing in the world, so I wanted to emphasize the typical labradorshaped ear.)

I share a little insight into how I approach painting in general and also how to consider fur texture.
