Watercolour Paper 300 gsm:
Winsor & Newton watercolours: Winsor Red, Opera Rose, Paynes Grey, Lemon Yellow, Ultramarine.

Apple Twig
(You can use a twig from any tree, just let it dry out for a bit then sharpen it with a pencil sharpener.)

0:52 Paint petals with pink paint.
1:08 Paint darker paint on edges.
1:45 Use thicker paint to create dark marks.
2:22 Drop in paint wet in wet.
2:27 Use a twig to create veins in petals.

3:54 Paint centres with green paint.

5:24 Peel off cling film and blow dry.
5:28 Paint detail with small brush using dark colours.
6:07 Add lighter greens to centre.
6:15 Use rigger to paint thin lines.
6:38 Pull out darks with twig.
6:49 Add stronger pink to create shadow.
6:54 Soften edge with water.
7:14 Paint shadow on stem and leaves with dark green.
7:19 Soften edge with damp brush.
7:23 Finish with a spatter of yellow.
