So a bit of an explanation: The main strategy I think the game intends you to use for star punching TD Bear Hugger is to stun him with one punch, and then to throw the star punch, and that would either get him further into a stun animation, or it would knock him down (if you had 3 stars). However, this fight is showing how Bear Hugger can be hit with star punches outside of his stun, which deals less damage, and you can't instant knock him down when using a 3 star punch. This was certainly an interesting way to fight him as his window for hitting him after dodging is quite small.
