Welcome to Flashback Traxx The Record World Pop Singles Chart #1s Year By Year, Week By Week!

Flashback Traxx is now bringing you the #1 pop singles on the charts from the third of the major music trades for many years, Record World (known as Music vendor from 195464).

This week The Record World #1 hits from 1968!

After Record World's pop charts are finished, there's plenty of places to go because so many others do Billboard stuff out there, I will probably stay away from the Hot 100 #1 singles, but may tackle the magazine's Easy Listening/Adult Contemporary chart at some point. I also have access to the pop chart #1s from Cashbox Magazine, Radio And Records, and The Gavin Report, and also could research and compile charts from College Music Journal, Contemporary Christian Magazine, Friday Morning Quarterback, Hits, and other magazines and tipsheets out there. I hope you enjoy this new adjusted format, and know that the TKR charts WILL return after my Missing Years Project is completed, hopefully by the end of 2025!
