Here is a video showing the road from the Alabama Hills, right outside of Lone Pine CA to the Portal at Mt. Whitney. This road has some breathtaking views and steep climbs. Just be sure to keep your eyes on the road if you are the one driving.

This video is sped up, please do not speed on this road. If you were to go off of the edge it would be about 3,000 ft until you hit the bottom.
