Tomatoes are stewed with spices and coconut milk to get thick spicy, tangy curry!
An easy yet tasty curry which can be served with bread, appam or chapathi

Ingredients
Oil 1 tbsp
Cinnamon 1
Cardamom 2
Cloves 2
Peppercorns 1/2 tsp
Onion 1
Garlic 45
Ginger 1 tsp
Green chilli 3
Tomato 2
Coconut milk 1 1/2 c ( thin milk)
Thick coconut milk 1/2 C
Salt 1 tsp
For tempering:
Oil 2 tsp
Mustard 1/4 tsp
Shallots 3
Curry leaves few
