Tomatoes Provençal style

Today I present a quick and easy recipe: Tomatoes Provençal style, a delicious dish that you can enjoy at any time.

Let them warm in summer and serve them fresh from the air fryer in cold weather. You're sure to love them.

Don't skip the double cooking. Think that the first serves to halfcook them and get them to start to soften. With the second, we integrate flavours, finish cooking the tomatoes and brown them. With a single long cooking time, they would end up too browned, even burnt, and, depending on the size of the tomatoes, they would probably be raw.

The onion, if you wish, can be lightly toasted, but note the word ‘lightly’. Don't let it brown too much because it will change the concept of the dish.

Salt? Use whatever salt you like. You can salt the onion and/or tomatoes before cooking them, but bear in mind that breadcrumbs already have salt and that garlic intensifies the flavour so that, in many cases, it is not necessary.

And finally, you can of course make this recipe in the oven, although if you have an air fryer, it will be easier and more economical to make it as I show you in the video.
