Johnny Carson's farewell episode of the Tonight Show on May 22, 1992 featured a monologue and many clips of previous guests, musicians, comedians, skits, and more.

This particular VHS recording was from WVTM 13 in Birmingham, Alabama, and has a brief local leadin, and includes commercials.

This episode already exists on YouTube, but here it has been cleaned up some and upconverted to 1080p60 (each NTSC field converted to its own frame) to better preserve quality and motion. The sound is also broadcast MTS stereo on hifi tracks. However, it's still limited by the specs of good ol' VHS, in this case a RCA VR671HF from 1990.
