Arrrrrr ya ready to set sail? Anchors away mateys! We are going on an adventure to The Butler Chain of Lakes with yours truly Captain Jack...I mean Captain Simon of course. As we voyage through the beautiful spring fed waters we will check out the largest mansions the chain has to offer and the beautiful lake scenery. Just like New Years we are going to count down from 10 of the largest estates on the lakes. Can you take a guess which is number one before watching our video? *Spoiler alert...it shares the same name with a palace in France* Boating is just one of the activities you can enjoy living in Orlando with over 100 lakes to choose from. Life is truly better on the water. You can spend the entire day on The Butler Chain of Lakes which consists of 12 lakes spread over 5,000 acres. Let's name them all: Down, Little Lake Down, Wauseon, Butler, Louise, Isleworth, Chase, Blanche, Tibet, Sheen, Pocket, and last but not least Little Fish. Fun fact the chain of lakes was the first lake system in Florida to receive the designation of Outstanding Florida Waters from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection in 1985 because of its water quality and wildlife habitat. It's so clean the captain took a refreshing plunge at the end of the voyage and lived to tell the tale!
