Some of us are simply afraid of oud. I can remember several years ago, early on in my journey, I didn't want to go near fragrances that featured oud for fear that I...wouldn't like them. That sounds silly, doesn't it? What is there really to be afraid of?

Now granted, I was not quite ready to appreciate oud back then. However, if you are feeling like I was and you fear that you won't like it, then what do you really have to lose by trying it? All I can say is that since I've started to enjoy oud, my experience as a fragrance lover has only be enriched. And I'm only beginning this foray into oudbased fragrances.

Grace seems to be of the rare breed of folks who already has a taste for it early on...so needless to say, I'm excited to throw as much oud at her as I can! Let's see how these 10 oudcentric fragrances, of different personalities and price backets, fared against her keen nose.
