BMX is a style of bicycles that seems to have remained the same for decades now. Let's admit it, what else can you improve in a BMX bike? Make it lighter by introducing more advanced materials? Introduce additional gear that could make riding and doing advanced tricks easier? How about adding a batteryelectric powertrain for ease of commuting? It seems that some modern manufacturers decided to address the last question in this list and started designing BMXstyle bicycles with electric motors.

Just like traditional BMX models, these innovative ebikes feature a lightweight construction, have frame geometry,low saddles and tall handlebars good for going tricks, but also introduce powerful motors and high capacity battery packs. As a result, you get a compact vehicle that is good for both rides at the nearest skate park and commuting within the city streets.
