■Naruko Gorge ( Late October Early November )
Naruko Gorge is a 100meterdeep gorge located in the northwestern part of Miyagi Prefecture, and has been selected as one of the "100 best autumn leaves viewing spots in Japan. The view from the gazebo at the Narukokyo Rest House is truly spectacular!

■Naruko Dam ( Late October Early November )
Naruko Dam, located near Naruko Gorge, is an arched concrete dam, the first dam in Japan built entirely by Japanese engineers. The artificial lake formed by the dam is called Arauoko, and like Naruko Gorge, it is designated as Kurikoma National QuasiPark along with Naruko Gorge.


■Matsushima ( Early to late November )
Matsushima is one of the three most scenic spots in Japan, along with Miyajima in Aki (Hiroshima Prefecture) and Amanohashidate in Tango (Kyoto Prefecture). This tour will take visitors to Matsushima's autumn leaves viewing spots, including the "Four Great Views of Matsushima," "Kanrantei," "Godaido," and the "Shintoyama Observation Deck".

■Akiu Great Falls ( MidOctober to early November )
Akiu Great Falls, located on the upper reaches of the Natori River in central Miyagi Prefecture, has been selected one of the "100 most beautiful waterfalls in Japan". You can look down on the entire 55meter waterfall, along with the autumn leaves.

■Nametsu Great Falls ( MidOctober to early November )
Nametsu Great Falls spans the Shiraishigawa River that flows through the southern part of Miyagi Prefecture, and is a powerful waterfall of 10 m high and 30 m wide with abundant water volume. A boardwalk and stairs have been built right next to the waterfall, allowing visitors to experience the roar of the waterfall from up close as they are splashed by the water.

■Zaimokuiwa ( Late October to midNovember )
Zaimokuiwa is a scenic spot located in the Shiraishi River basin in the southern part of Miyagi Prefecture.The name "Zaimokuiwa" comes from the unique landscape that looks as if timbers are arranged vertically, and it is designated as a national "natural monument".

■Lake Shichigashuku ( Late October to early November )
Shichikashuku Lake is a dammed lake in the Shiraishi River basin flowing in the southern part of Miyagi Prefecture, and has been selected as one of the "100 Dammed Lakes in Japan". On the lakeside is the "Shichigajuku Dam Natural Recreation Park," where 777 trees of 77 species have been planted in honor of the name Shichigajuku.

■Hekigyokukei ( Late October to midNovember )
Hekigyokukei is a gorge created by the Shiraishigawa River, which flows through the southern part of Miyagi Prefecture. There is a hot spring just upstream, and a walking trail has been developed from the hot spring to allow visitors to appreciate the beauty of the valley and autumn leaves as they weave through the valley.

■Abukuma Line ( Late October to midNovember )
The Abukuma River, the second largest river in Tohoku, runs through Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures and has been selected as one of the "100 best autumn leaves in Japan". Visitors can enjoy a leisurely boat ride on a yakatabune while admiring the scenic beauty of the river, its oddly shaped rocks, and the seasonal beauty of nature.
