In today’s Episode of Figuring out With Raj Shamani, we have founders of Zepto, Aadit Palicha (Founder & CEO Zepto) and Kaivalya Vohra (Founder & CTO at Zepto).

Both Palicha and Vohra had enrolled in Stanford to pursue a Computer Science degree but dropped out to pursue their entrepreneurial interests instead. The idea to start Zepto came from the confines of their homes amid the pandemic.

A rise in demand for homedeliveries meant that groceries and other essentials would reach the buyer in a matter of a couple of days, leaving a vacuum for instant delivery. So, Zepto was founded with that consideration in mind.

Zepto is Mumbai based startup which offers a 10minute groceries delivery service. Zepto has secured $100 million in a fundraising round headed by Y Combinator, bringing its valuation to $570 million just 5 months after launching services in India's quick commerce sector.
