Topic 5.9 - Using the Steady State Approximation to solve for a Rate Law
In this video I briefly walkthrough how you could use the steadystate approximation in AP Chemistry to express a rate law that has an intermediate into a rate law that has chemical species that are involved in your actual reaction. Once you determine this "new" rate law you can use that to see if it matches the observed rate law from data.
