Video 5 about my trip to Argentina
Our trip through Argentina took an unexpected turn, due to the cancellation of flights by the terrible airline Flybondi, which I do not recommend at all, because of this, we could no longer go to Bariloche so we had to look for more activities to do in El Calafate and since we love hiking we decided to hire the tour to Torres del Paine in Chile, a simply spectacular and very beautiful place, but the way we did it was not the best, here we tell you about our experience, knowing that sometimes this is what trips are like, where everything can turn out perfect or things get complicated and there is nothing left but to try to get something good out of it, this was our trip from Calafate Argentina to Torres del Paine in Chile.

With strong gusts of wind like we had never seen before

From El Calafate, due to geographical issues, you have to take a long trip that takes almost 4 hours to reach the entrance of the Torres del Paine National Park and from there another two hours to the place where we will walk to appreciate the towers, one of the most important natural areas of Chile located between the Andes Mountains and the Patagonian Steppe.

As we leave El Calafate towards Chile we realize the immense population of guanacos that exist in Patagonia, which is how the geographical region of southern America is known. This guanaco is a relative of the llama and in some cases it is considered a pest due to the ease with which they reproduce and the extinction of their predators such as pumas.

The funny thing is that today we should be in Bariloche but there is a lowcost airline called Flybondi, we bought our domestic flights with them for the price and in the end we lost everything, they constantly cancel their flights, anyway with our flight canceled and stranded in El Calafate, we saw that the agency with which we went to Perito Moreno, Patagonia Chic, offers day tours to Torres del Paine in Chile and we decided to take it to take advantage of the day.

Due to its landscapes with flora and fauna, Patagonia has just become one of my favorite regions in the world, that is why on the way I practically did not sleep even though we passed by at 6:30 am, 2 more hours went by and we reached the border, here we had to give our passport to the Argentine authorities informing us that we will leave the country to cross into Chile, where we also have to go through immigration upon arrival.

Chile welcomed us with strong gusts of wind, so despite the microphone filter what I said is completely inaudible, but remember that it is prohibited to cross with fruits and vegetables, you may be fined.

As Mexicans we do not need a visa for Argentina or Chile, just bring your passport, make sure you don't forget it or lose it along the way.

After passing through Chilean immigration we went into a cafeteria to have breakfast and a drink and due to the strong wind I will have to do Foley so you understand what I'm saying.

And from here the wind is already very strong.

I don't know much about a dog breed but I think this is a Newfoundland, from what I saw he even gets hot being inside the cafeteria.

Well, definitely only in this way can you resist this cold and these airs with a coat as thick as the dog's.

After tea and an empanada, we continued our trip to Torres del Paine with more views of the immense number of guanacos that exist in the Patagonia.

This route is truly a natural spectacle, all snowy and it is spring, remember that winter here is from June to September.

Despite being a very long path, the landscapes have made it bearable and finally in the distance we can begin to see Las Torres del Paine, which little by little we will get closer to.

The first tourist stop of the trip has arrived and it is to appreciate El Lago del Toro, which has an area of more than 200 km2 and more than 300 meters deep and is one of the main tourist and natural attractions of the Torres del Paine National Park.

By the way, it is important that you make the payment for the National Park at least one day in advance from the web portal.
$10 dollars for Chileans
$39 for foreigners
