Walking Tour of Bar Harbor and Bar Island Sand Bar Hike. The final town to showcase on MDI. Join me as I show you around Bar Harbor, Maine. The tour begins in the heart of the town at the Village Green. A great meeting spot for all visiting the town. Then head down main street and cottage. Pop into the oldest book store in Maine, Sherman's Book Store. Enjoy some music at Agamont Park. Then head down to the Bar Island sand bar trail. Make sure you get there at low tide! We finish off with a beer at The Barnacle Oyster Bar, a calm walk along the Shore Path and a glass of wine and Shrimp and Lobster Cocktail at the Legendary Terrace Grille at the historic Bar Harbor Inn.
