Touring Quanah Parker's Star House In Cache, Oklahoma. In today's video, we go back to our summer 2021 trip to Texas in late June/early July. We spent a day going to Cache, Oklahoma and other nearby towns. Kayla's mother has always loved Native American culture and history. It was her birthday at the time and her wish was to be able to tour the Star house of Quanah Parker... the last Chief of the Comanches. The Star House is registered with the National Register of Historic Places and is on the Oklahoma's list of Most Endangered Historic Places. Sadly the house needs immediate attention if it's going to be saved. This is how it looked in early July 2021. Enjoy the tour and some brief history of Quanah Parker, the Star house, and their connection to Kayla's mother.
