Hello and welcome, thanks for stoping by. Today I am taking apart the ADD on the front diff and trying to figure out why I'm getting the mode malfunction error on the dash. The error read out on the dash will not go away, it comes back within a minute after clearing. It drives me crazy knowing I can't go into 4wd. Anyways, removing the unit and soldering the connection is almost a must do with these units. The only thing making your truck so capable off road is a little tiny motor, so take care of it. Overall not a bad fix with the right tools. I will continue to check it and move between 2wd and 4wd regularly. Thanks for watching, let me know if you have any question.
