TRAGIC !!! P51D MUSTANG DEADSTICK DISASTER
Unfortunate incident where towards the end of the planned flight the engine died and the pilot had to guess the glide back to the strip. Unfortunately just fell short after adding in flaps. Can happen to the most experienced pilot. Not a completer write off though thankfully. These models are scratch built and the owners are highly skilled in making challenging repairs.
