Learn how to properly adjust the chain on a TrailMaster 150 XRX or TrailMaster 150 XRS go kart.

Tools:
17mm wrench
Chain lubricant

Procedures:
If the chain is dirty or muddy, wash before adjusting
If the chain is rusty or stiff, use WD40 to clean and loosen links
Without the engine running, check the chain tension
Loosen the top chain adjust nut 12 turns
Lower the bottom nut 12 turns with fingers
Tighten top nut
Check chain tension. Should be very little play. Not tight or binding.
If necessary, repeat or loosen
Spray the entire chain with chain lubricant
