Dear friends,

this video was recorded at Ramstein Air Base. There was much C5, C17, C130 and 747 traffic during the last days also some other planes as you can see. We had great light in the evening and tried to use different positions. It's not easy in Ramstein because the military planes don't care about wind sometimes and it's unclear which direction will be used.

In this video you will see a McDonnell Douglas KC10 Extender. It's an American aerial refueling tanker. It performed aerial refueling in "Operation Eldorado Canyon" (1986 Libya), the "Operations Desert Shield" and "Desert Storm" (1990–91 Iraq), "Operation Allied Force" (NATO mission in Yugoslavia), "Operation Enduring Freedom" (Afghanistan) and "Operations Iraqi Freedom" and "New Dawn".
