Hello and welcome to this new video of mine which is from Syston located on the Midland Mainline between Leicester and Sileby.

This is a fantastic station to spot at. The views are really good mostly towards the north because the view to the south is slightly obstructed by the road bridge. Also at the end of the single platform there are quite tall fences which can block your view sometimes. The frequency and range of traction is great with many long distance services to Nottingham and Sheffield run by Meridians or HSTs alongside some CrossCountry services to Birmingham and Stansted Airport. There were also some freight services with some of them being diverted Freightliner services through Leicester and Peterborough instead of London and Ipswich.

I spent roughly 3 hours here and it was well worth it with the constant passenger services and a few freight services. I would definitely recommend this station to other enthusiasts.
