We pick up pretty much where we left off at Locust Grove, GA and work towards: Atlanta, Mableton, Austell, and Bremen. Of course, along the way, we run into trains of all kinds transfers, locals, hotshots, coal drags, and slop freights on both Norfolk Southern and CSX and even get a little Kansas City Southern power. This is my first time seeing pure KCS power, the closest before being the "Taco Belles" on CSX Q188 back in Plant City years ago.

Enjoy this and all the comic relief! You can imagine how hot it was by all the in car shots too. Overall this has been an exciting part of our trip but I think y'all will really love Birmingham.
