We remodeled a dated kitchen. Green kitchens are cool. And this is green in both senses of the word, since we refurbished the old oak cabinets. We also used semidecayed wood from the forest floor to make our counters. We opened up a wall, and topped it off with a bar made from a slab of flame box elder.

Cabinet paint: Behr Marquee interior satin. The color is Bay Water (S3804).

Also added: black stainless steel appliances, undercabinet lights, an LED faucet, track lighting, new flooring, and a farmhouse sink.
