I made an LED PANEL out of Junk

Follow
Leandro Linares

To make my videos feel more "cinematic", I needed to start learning how to properly light scenes. The best way for me to understand how things work is to build them myself. For this project, I used materials I gathered from various places. I repurposed a computer monitor because it already had all the necessary diffusion layers. Then, I added a simple daylight LED strip and a dimmer.

List of materials (with affiliate links):
LED strip daylight (5500k) SMD5630 high CRI: https://amzn.to/3FigE8h
PWM dimmer 10Hz 12v: https://amzn.to/3FmQxgn
Power supply: https://amzn.to/46zeLQy
DC socket 5.5mm x 2.1mm: https://amzn.to/3QkQUNJ
