Picturesque walking tour of the Obidos Medieval Fair! Obidos, Portugal, is a small, but beautiful town inside the walls of an ancient castle. A medieval market recreates the Middle Ages in Obidos for about 2 weeks every July. At the Obidos Medieval Fair visitors are taken on a journey back in time to medieval Europe in different ways, including in the food served at several stalls. There are tournaments and jousts, knights and fortune tellers stand around the large terrace behind the castle, and you can enjoy theater performances and concerts of medieval music on a big stage!
