*Study clarification In the study I mention that only 15% of hips in hip pain had hip arthritis and 20% of arthritic hips had hip pain. But this was only the data for 946 hips. The study also analyzed another group of 4,366 hips which it reported separately. In that group, only 9% of hips in pain had arthritis and 23%of arthritic hips were frequently painful.
