Treatment of intervertebral hernia. My experience. Exercises recommendations + inversion table.

I've been doing sports all my life, but I haven't pumped my back or a corset around my spine. As a result, as they say, "it breaks where it is thin", I got a hernia between the L4 and L5 vertebrae (I don't remember how it is indicated in S), size 7,+ mm. In August 2016, in the morning, I felt that my big toe was numb and lost sensitivity, and there was a slight and unpleasant pain in the lumbar region. I went to the doctor, did an MRI (the recommendation was to do surgery), but the doctor said we will try to restore it without surgery. Prescribed to do electrophoresis with the drug " karipazim "(60 procedures, a break a month after 20 procedures) and 60 injections (painkillers) + 15 (I do not remember what else was). I had to learn to do the injections myself, because my wife could not always give them to me because of work. And it wasn't easy for me, a person who doesn't like needles. She also told me to do exercises based on the video "exercises for the back from Shamil Alyautdinov (hernia treatment)" and not to rush with the operation.

I did everything completely and in half a year I was as good as new! I also went to the gym, but I did the exercises without loading my back. Gradually stopped doing exercises for the back it no longer bothers. And as a result, in 2018, in the fall, while washing the bath, I got a lumbago, and even such that 2 legs failed for seconds... he fell to his knees and staggered to the bed. I lay down for a couple of days, lifted my legs up (according to the exercise from Anton Epifanov) to relieve pain and relax the spine. Recovery took more than six months, but the pain and numbness began to pass after 34 months. I could have been on my feet all day, but by the evening everything was coming back and I needed a mandatory rest. By the way, this time the big toe was normal, but the little finger and ring finger temporarily lost sensitivity. My leg was completely numb... the most terrible lumbago. After a while, I'm back to normal. Over time, I stopped doing exercises again and limited myself in loads. But it hung periodically on the inversion table (which I purchased at the beginning of the summer).

And here is the autumn of 2020... raised the light box, the back straightened immediately and got clear. Life teaches you nothing! Except for recovery... This time it is a more serious approach and a little bit with other exercises, they seemed to me more effective (from Anton Epifanov). Yes, and studied a lot of material on the restoration of the spine. After 1.5 months, I feel much better, again I can walk a decent distance without any discomfort. I continue to study. Here in this video I share my experience, those exercises and tell you what I liked the inversion table. Do I need it at all? Just want to say that the table will not be particularly effective without exercise! It will only help to relieve pain and numbness for a while. Remove the load from the back.
