It's Sunday morning October 9th 2022 and its time for the big project to get done ! The sod water way is getting cut back down to grade and tile is going to be trenched in. This is something I've wanted done for a long time and it will make a big difference in getting water away from the house and drainage for the field. The down spout used to dump out on the ground by the house and the sump pump dump out into the field witch created a wet spot and the need for a ditch year round. So now the down spout will be connected to the tile and so will the sump pump getting all that water away from the house and it will help the field drain too. The other line will be put in the lowest strip on the place ware it likes to stay wet so it will drain now. While Craig is hear I'll have him clear the rest of the road ditch and take some dirt out of it too so it will drain. The township has never cleaned or recut the ditch sense mom and dad bought the place in 1970 so it really needed it. Dad had to come out and check things out and he was amazed at how fast this was getting done and he approved of all the work being done. As for me I was doing some clean up around the old equipment sitting behind the house and thats part of my clean up project to clean up and add more farmable ground for next year about a half acre more. I took a lot of video that day but I had to cut it down to about a half hour, So I hope you enjoyed watching as the big project gets done. Bandit
