In 2022 triathlon changed forever as the inaugural PTO Tour saw the best of the world's professional triathletes come together to face off for huge prize money in some of the strongest fields ever assembled.

What unfolded was some of the best racing ever seen as the standard of competition was elevated to a level never seen before, culminating in record breaking results across the globe.

Starting in May with the Herbalife24 Los Angeles Triathlon PTO Pro Am, six professional triathletes competed alongside Challenged Athlete Foundation athletes and special guests in a unique relay race through the streets of Downton LA.

The PTO Canadian Open launched the inaugural PTO Tour, before the second edition of the Collins Cup in Slovakia saw Team Europe reignite their battle with Team International and Team US to once again crown the greatest triathlon region in the world.

To round off the season, Dallas hosted the PTO US open in blistering heat, once again pushing the world's best triathletes to the very limit in two dramatic races that will be remember for a long time.

One thing is for sure. Triathlon will never be the same again.
