Once known as a village of Starving, Amlasol is now connected in tourist map of Bengal. A new homestay has come up in the tribal
village covered in the forests and surrounded by the hills.
During yet another weekend trip to Jongol Mohol we visited the tribal village of Amlasol and stayed at Kurchi Banaabas in a serene

nature. Walking through the lonely red soil pathways through the forest in and around the village, listening to the birds' chirping
all the day, relaxing at the balcony of the cottage with a view full of green shades in front and listening to the sound of a water
stream just below the cottage all were quite fascinating experience.
The night was of silence mixed with the music of crickets and other insects of the jungle.
We also had a sight seeing tour of Belpahari for half day from Amlasol.
We reached Ghatsila by Train and from there hired an Auto to reach Amlasol and later for the sight seeing tour.
For those seeking seclusion, Kakrajhor is a charming sanctuary. It is especially lovely in the winter and spring, when the full moon

evenings produce an almost ethereal environment. The constant rhythms of the Madal drums and the Adivasi drums fill the nights in
Kankrajhor, creating a hypnotic atmosphere. The hilly area with extensive woodlands is comprised of the 'Kakra' and 'jhor' areas.
Several hardwood trees, including the shaal, segun, mahua, and akashmani, can be found there. It's a fantastic location to discover.
