Episode 29 The Cramp Twins
Wayne is customizing his trike. He finds a flame pattern on a barbecue charcoal bag and empties the charcoal into the laundry basket so he can fix the flame pattern on to his trike. He tries to enter his soupedup trike in a downhill racer competition, but is shocked and upset when he learns that trikes aren’t actually allowed. Wayne decides to have a trike rally of his own and puts up posters. Meanwhile Tony has entered the same race, but Lucien discovers that Tony’s secret swamp technique for winning involves exploiting slugs and sets out to rescue the poor creatures. Wayne’s rally attracts two big bikers on threewheel chopper trikes, one of whom has a flat tyre (after running over one of Wayne’s posters and the nail that held it in place). Wayne lies to impress them and invites them back to his “crib” with the promise of a spare tyre. The bikers are a bit sceptical until they see all the junk and comics in Wayne’s room. They soon make themselves at home, but when the spare tyre doesn’t materialise and the smell of promised barbecue turns out to be the washing machine full of charcoal, the bikers get angry. The Parsons family put Lucien ‘on trial’ for stealing the slugs but decide to pardon him and welcome him as a fellow swamp person instead of punishing him. The bikers chase Wayne to Dirty Joe’s scrap yard. Once they find out that Wayne is a friend of Dirty Joe’s they back off.
