A very famous pagoda in Kampong Chhnang province of Cambodia called Tro Leng Keng Pagoda. This pagoda is about 25 kilometers away from Kampong Chhnang city along National Road number 5. If we travel from Phnom Penh cit to Kampong Chhnang city along national road number 5, there is about 25 kilometers from Kampong Chhnang city, on the right hand side, there is a nice gate with the name Tro Leng Keng Pagoda វត្តត្រឡែងកែង. It's about 6 kilometers from National Road 5 to the pagoda along the nice smooth road with big trees like the road to Angkor Wat in Siem Reap province. From the old time, this area was the Royal Palace called Long Vek Royal Palace. It's where the story of Preah Ko is. There were thick bamboo around this place and Siam, currently Thai wanted to get Preah Ko. They don't know how to catch Preah Ko as the bamboo were so thick to get through. They thought of a trick by shooting a Prak Doung (Silver Money) into the bamboo. Cambodian people at that time dig out the bamboo to get Prak Doung and finally the bamboo forest is open, The Siam came in to catch Preah Ko to their country. This is just a short story of this place.
