Part 2 This Video is for Troubleshooting a Refrigerator that is not cooling. In this case we are talking about a fridge that the freezer is still freezing but the fridge section is not cooling.

This is usually the sign of a Defrost issue. This is a simple step by step tutorial on how to locate the faulty defrost system component.

There are basically three things that control the defrost system.
DEFROST TIMER
DEFROST THERMOSTAT
DEFROST HEATER

The refrigerator shown in this video is a Frigidaire, FRT model. These checks will work with pretty much any brand of top freezer refrigerator,including Whirlpool, Maytag, GE and so on.
