On October 16, 1984, a 4yearold child, Grégory, was thrown hand and foot bound into a river, in Lépanges, in the Vosges.
A mysterious anonymous correspondent then claimed responsibility for this crime committed out of revenge. The enigma would excite public opinion and unleash the media. Two interpretations would compete for the favor of journalists, failing that of justice: the assassin would be the child's uncle or the mother herself, Christine Villemin.
