Experience the world's largest turbofan engine from ultra close up at FLL!! Listen to the intense sound of the giant engine starting up from just ~100 feet away away, followed by a shot of the aircraft idling on the taxiway! A few photos are included from when the aircraft shut down and went back to the gate for a "mechanical issue." Thankfully they worked it out and tried again 30 minutes later! The jetblast was so powerful that it sent our microphone rolling away down the taxiway (hear it around 2:07)! Surprisingly there was zero jetblast during the next taxi shot. But check out the engines glowing red after the amazing thundering takeoff from runway 10L!
