Former US president survived assassination bid. Donald Trump was shot during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. Trump has just begun a campaign speech when shots rang out. A bullet hits the former President's right ear striking his face with blood. This wasn't the first time when leaders in U.S. suffered an assassination attempt. Acc. to the Congressional Research Service, Presidents, Presidentelect and candidates suffered assassination bid. These incidents have occurred on at least 15 separate occasions, five resulting in death.
