TruStyrenyx™: The allinone technology platform for the chemical recycling of polystyrene.

The technology collaboration combines Agilyx’s pyrolysis process and Technip Energies purification technology, converting polystyrene plastic waste into a recycled styrene monomer. Styrene monomer is used to make numerous plastics and other polymers like ABS, pure polystyrene, and various synthetic rubbers.

Pilot plant testing conducted on difficult to recycle waste polystyrene, including flame retardant laden waste polystyrene, was successful in yielding a recycled monomer of exceptionally high purity.
