So, I wanted to attempt to simulate a much larger third cylinder that would act as if its power comes from allowing the hot exhaust of the other two cylinders to expand and drive the piston down, and this was the result. A big and burly Vtwin and a big intermittently firing third cylinder behind the Vtwin engine. Its, uh... its something, alright. Its also fitted to a low drag, lightweight test chassis, about 1500lbs with low rolling resistance wheels and mated to the same seven speed gearbox I used in the W6.
