This video provides an overview of the different types of formula that can be used to provide enteral nutrition.

You will learn about the 4 major types of tube feeding formula, which includes standard, predigested, diseasespecific, and blenderized.

You will also learn about the advantages and disadvantages of each type.

Within predigested formula, there are two popular types called hydrolyzed formula (or semielemental formula) and elemental formula.

These formulas have nutrients that are already broken down to ease digestion. However, you will see that they're not all they're hyped up to be!
