The mysterious source and pathways for turbine cooling air in a turbojet engine. The Canadair Sabre 6 was built in Canada under license from North American Aviation. It was a slightly modified design of the F86F, and it used a Canadian designed and produced engine: the Orenda 14 turbojet.
While restoring one, I had all the pieces in place to show how turbine cooling air gets where it is needed.
