Turning Prog Rock Into House Music // Octatrack Only Workflow

Follow
Ricky Tinez

In this quick Octatrack workflow video, I show you how I took a prog rock sample from Tracklib and transformed it into a House track using the Octatrack. The sample, which can be found at https://bit.ly/3Dd3mcr, had a ton of piano solo at the beginning which I creatively sliced and manipulated to create a unique pattern that perfectly complemented my house drum programming. Watch as I demonstrate how to use the Octatrack to turn a prog rock sample into a catchy and danceworthy House track.
