This tutorial shows how to map XY coordinate data obtained from GPS or a tabular dataset. It is specifically aimed to explain how to solve the discrepancy between XY data in decimal degrees (Geographic Coordinate System) and a GIS project in Projected Coordinate System (i.e. UTM, State Plane).
