Once a day, two SEPTA Suburban Kawasaki LRVs connect together to run a 2car trolley that serves the afterschool rush along the line. The 2Car trolley runs to Sharon Hill with both cars open to take students and regular riders home. Coming back, however, The front car of the trolley is only open with the back car closed off and dark.

The only other time the MediaSharon Hill Line runs a 2Car Trolley is if another trolley dies and need to be pushed or pulled back to 69th St to be repaired. There used to be a few rushhour 2car trolleys but those are long gone. This particular set splits when it gets back to 69th St with the first car becoming a Media Line Trolley while the back car goes back to Sharon Hill.

Personally, I wish there were more 2Car Trolley trips especially during rush hours on the Media Line. It's getting pretty crowded on those runs.
