General aviation allows our family opportunities that otherwise would not exist. A typical drive from our home to Destin, Florida would take nearly 14 hours. In our Twin Cessna, it only takes 2.5 hours.

Destin Florida is FAR Part 93 airspace. This means that you must be in contact with a controller even if you are not an instrument rated pilot on an IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) flight plan. The controllers make this really easy!

We flew to Destin in the previous year and made a video about overwhelmed controllers. They have been waiting for our next arrival to settle up the score. :)

We appreciate their warm hospitality. And hope to do a tour when restrictions are lifted.
