My niece, nephew, and his girlfriend visited me from the East Coast last week. I decided to take my newlyreturnedtome BMPCC4K along some of our excursions for some initial test shots! I'm pleased with the results.

Technical data:

• Mostly filmed 4K 4:1 Raw (some shots on the hike/hill are ProRes by mistake) in 24p/60p
• 400, 1250, and 3200 ISO
• Lenses are Duclos CineModded vintage Nikkor primes: 20mm, 35mm, and 85mm
• Daytime / early sunset shots have a UV/IR cut filter and Tiffen TrueMatch Variable ND.
• Most shots feature the original Metabones .71x Speedbooster. Some shots are with a standard adapter (sea lion, pelicans)
• Graded in Resolve with a LUT (Film Looks—Rec.709 to Kodak) with adjustments to the DNG settings and curves (just curves for the ProRes)
• Had a basic shoulder mount or tripod for the most part. Some shots on the mountain are pure handheld.
