Historic Commercial Vehicle Society June 2024
42nd TyneTees Run from Stockton ( Durham University Queens Sports Campus) to South Shields (Bents Park)
Here we are at this new location in Stockton for the gathering of some vehicles that will travel onwards through the towns and villages of Sedgefield, Coxhoe, Bowburn, till another mid way rest halt at Durham Johnston School, then onwards to South Shields via Chesterlestreet ,Sunderland, Roker, Whitburn, Marsden till the final stop at Bents Park on the sea front.
The weather was dry and sunny and this weekend there was a lot of other classic vehicle events that clashed on this date with the this historic road run.
Here we see a taste of the vehicles that turned out for the start and I would imagine many more will join along the route till they reach the final destination so check out other YouTubers for South Shields footage.
Looking through the program of entries its still looks a very good turn out of mixed vehicles from Steam lorries to classic commercials and specialist heavy haulage vehicles.
I headed onwards to an event in Hartlepool to a classic car show after leaving this site at 10am when the final tow truck left the site.

It's another long winded 18 minute video roughly chopped together hoping to make interesting footage captured as I saw it.
