In real estate there are many types of clauses and you are likely to see many of them on your real estate exam, so that's why we are talking about them today.

A clause just identifies a particular section of a real estate contract.

So where do clauses show up? Well in real estate contracts of course. Clauses are sections in deeds, mortgages, and more. It doesn’t matter which state you live in or where you live, if you are dealing with a real estate contract odds are it has clauses inside it.
