When acting as a Safety/Marshall boat for UKOPRA [(UK Offshore Powerboat Racing Association) we also fit in some filming over the race weekends....up close if possible. This video shows our experience at the 2024 Solent 80 race based at Haslar Marina in Gosport, Hampshire, England.

See these incredible machines drive out of historic Portsmouth Harbour and then pick up speed in the way to the muster area in The Solent, making sure no one hits the submerged World War 2 submarine barrier. .

Then we have close up action at the start of the race followed by all the finishers coming back past us just of the Beaulieu Rover, a massive 12 miles away from the start line.
